Height: This perennial grass that can grow to 2 feet tall.
Habitat: Grows best in dry soil and full to part sun.
Foliage: Thin leaves.
Flowers (Inflorescence): Green spikes extend upward from bace and dangle. Bloom May to June.
Fruits: This grass produces seeds.
Natural Habitat: Found in most wet places.
Why is it good for my garden? The grass is a fun texture to add to a dry area. Seeds are eaten by birds so it will attract wildlife to your garden. Used spiritually.
