Height: This perennial can grow from 1 to 3 ft tall.
Habitat: Well-drained to moist soil in full to part shade.
Foliage: Oval green leaves.
Flowers: Five petal purple to blue flower forms in clusters at the end of stem and bloom April to May.
Natural Habitat: Found in forests and open areas.
Why is it good for my garden? This pretty perennial is part of the borage family and is wonderful as a plant for a pollinator garden.
