Height: Deciduous small tree that can grow anywhere from 3 to 15 feet tall.
Habitat: Grows best in open dryer areas.
Foliage: Alternate, deciduous, oval, green leaves.
Flowers: White to pale pink fragrant flowers bloom April to June.
Fruits: Dark purple to black fruit are edible and are an important food for birds.
Bark: Gray colored Bark.
Natural Habitat: East side of Cascades up into the mountains.
Why is it good for my garden? This beautiful small tree have large fragrant flowers that attract butterflies. These flowers turn to dark fruit that is great for birds. Because of its size it is a great plant for every garden.
