Height: This perennial can from from 1 to 3 ft. tall.
Habitat: Grows best in moist areas with full to part sun.
Foliage: Opposite, oblong, veined, blue-green leaves.
Flowers: Round clusters of rose colored flowers bloom in June though August.
Natural Habitat: Found east of the Cascades in wet areas.
Why is it good for my garden? This beautiful flower is a great plant to a wet area because they attract butterflies. This plant also has very unique flower pods that give great interest to the plant.
