Height: This evergreen tree can grow slowly to 90 ft tall but can eventually get to 200ft.

Habitat: Grows best in full to part sun in well drained to dry soil. Drought tolerant.

Foliage: Flat, scale like, green branche.

Flowers: Small yellow cone like flowers form at end of branches.

Fruits: Brown cones form in fall and last all winter.

Bark: Brown to orange brown bark turns gray brown with age.

Natural Habitat: Found in Oregon and California mostly.
