Height: This clumping perennial sedge can grow from 4 to 24 inches tall.
Habitat: Grows best in sandy or loamy soil in full sun.
Foliage: Light green, soft leaves extend out of clumps.
Flowers (Inflorescence): Brown to black spikes.
Fruits: This sedge produces seeds.
Natural Habitat: Found around lake and stream shores.
Why is it good for my garden? If you have an area what is well drained around a pond of stream the clumps of Lakeshore sedge would give great texture to your area.
