Height: Perennial that grows up to 2' tall.

Habitat: Grows best in moist to well drained soil in full to part sun.

Foliage: Clusters of oblong toothed green leaves.

Flowers: Burgundy flower blooms June through August

Natural Habitat: Grows in boggy areas on both sides of the mountains.

Why is it good for my garden? This is a stunning flower to put in a wet area. Attracts insects.
