Height: This dogwood is not our native dogwood tree but a hybrid that is has crossed out native tree with a more disease resistant variety. This deciduous tree can grow up to 35 ft tall.
Habitat: Grows best in moist to well drained soil in full sun to open shade.
Foliage: Oval to heart shaped green leaves that turn bright red in fall.
Flowers: Large 4 petaled flowers bloom in Spring.
Fruits: Bright red fruit.
Bark: New growth bark is red-brown and turns gray-brown with age.
