Height: This dense, deciduous hybrid of the red twig dogwood was bread to stay short. Growing to about 3 ft. tall.
Habitat: Grows best in full sun to part shade and will adapt to all soil types.
Foliage: Oblong green leaves have a bit of a purple hue to them at time and turn bright red in fall.
Flowers: Small clusters of white flowers.
Fruits: Small white berries.
Bark: Brown to a bright red color.
Why is it good for my garden? Attractive plant to add color to an area. Also used as low hedging plant.
