Height: This perennial ground cover can grow 3 to 6 inches tall.
Habitat: Grows best in moist shady areas.
Foliage: Whorls of 4 to 6 oval green leaves.
Flowers: Showy four petal white to purple flower that blooms May through June.
Fruits: Bright red berries appear as flower dies.
Natural Habitat: Found in moist forests.
Why is it good for my garden? This is a beautiful perennial ground cover for a moist shady area since it has great flowers and berries. Attracts birds and other pollinators.
