Height: This perennial can grow from 1 to 3 ft. tall.
Habitat: Grows best in a full sun well drained area.
Foliage: Narrow, lance shaped leaves.
Flowers: Deep purple cone shaped 5 petaled flower blooms May to June.
Natural Habitat: Found in dry areas along coast and prairies.
