Height: This clumping, perennial grass can grow from 1 to 3 ft. tall.
Habitat: Grows best in moist to well drained soil and full to part sun.
Foliage: Flat narrow leaves with numerous stems.
Flowers: Brown seed packs form in spring and become feathery in summer.
Natural Habitat: Found widely from coastal marshes to moist areas in the mountains.
Why is it good for my garden? This grass is a good plant for garden areas because it is clumping and has an airy look to it. It can help with stabilizing soil in areas. This grass can tolerate salt spray and attracts pollinators.
