Height: Perennial that can grow 1 to 2 ft. tall.

Habitat: Grows best in moist to well drained soil in part sun. Drought tolerant.

Foliage: Slender to lance shaped green leaves that are in a bunch at the base of the plant. Few leaves grow on the flower stock but very thin.

Flowers: Daisy like purple-blue flower with yellow center. Flower petals are very narrow and there are a lot of them. Blooms in June through August.

Natural Habitat: Found in prairies and forest openings.

Why is it good for my garden? TShowy Fleabane works well as a carpeting plant with showy flowers. This small plant works well for a wall or paving crevices. Also does well in sunny rain gardens.
