Height: This rhizomatous perennial can grow from 1 to 3 ft. tall.

Habitat: Grows best in wet to moist soil in full to part sun.

Foliage: Thick, green, oval shaped leaves.

Flowers: Bright yellow flowers with red spots near center on bottom petals, looks like snapdragons, bloom March through September.

Natural Habitat: Found in wet places.

Why is it good for my garden? Yellow monkey flower is a great plant for a wet almost aquatic area. Good ground cover. Bees and hummingbirds love this plant.
