Height: This perennial can grow from 4 to 7 inches tall and spread to 3 ft. wide.
Habitat: Grow best in full shade
Foliage: Blue-green, toothed, veined, leaves that grow in clusters of three.
Flowers: Five petal flower with yellow center bloom May through August.
Fruits: Small, sweet, red berries.
Natural Habitat: Found in open woods to gravely plains.
Why is it good for my garden? This strawberry makes a great ground cover for most areas. Edible berries are delicious and attract wildlife.
