Height: This perennial can grow from 2 to 4 feet tall.
Habitat: Grows best in dry soil and full sun.
Foliage: Lance shaped green leaves.
Flowers: Bright yellow mutipetal flower blooms May through August.
Natural Habitat: Usually found east of the Cascades in open dry areas.
Why is it good for my garden? False sunflower is a great plant for a dry area or rock garden because of its bright yellow flowers that attract butterflies and other pollinators.
