Height: This perennial can grow from 1 to 3 ft. tall.
Habitat: Grows best in moist soil in mostly shady areas.
Foliage: Bright green, deeply lobed usually in odd numbers, toothed leaves.
Flowers: Green to yellow or cream colored flowers with 5 petals usually with long hair like antenna coming out of the center of the flower. Blooms May through July.
Natural Habitat: Found is forest understories and edges.
Why is it good for my garden? This perennial is a pretty plant to add to a wet area of your yard. Enjoyed by pollinators. This plant is known to be edible, you can eat it raw or cooked kind of like spinach.
