Height: This perennial can grows from 2 to 3 ft. tall.
Habitat: Grows best in moist to well drained soil in full to part sun.
Foliage: Small segmented narrow green leaves with hairs that makes the leaves look gray green.
Flowers: Bright red trumpet shaped flower that opens pointing the ground bloom August through October.
Natural Habitat: Found in meadows to open areas.
