Height: This grass called a rush can grow to 3 ft. tall it spreads by rhizomes.
Habitat: Grows best in moist to wet areas in full to part sun. Can grow in brackish and salty water areas.
Foliage: Round green blades grow along rhizomes.
Flowers (Inflorescence): Tiny flowers that are brown green bloom in May though August.
Fruits: Oval seed pack.
Natural Habitat: Found in most moist places.
Why is it good for my garden? This rush can grow in any moist area and is easy to grow. Used by pollinators and birds.
