Height: This evergreen shrub can grow up to 10 ft. tall.
Habitat: Grows best in well drained to dry soil in full sun.
Foliage: Green to blue green fragrant evergreen needles.
Flowers: Small yellow flowers.
Fruits: Oval hard blue with pointes on it. Turns brown and opens as dries and matures.
Bark: Thin, rough, scaly, brown to red brown bark.
Natural Habitat: Found in open dry areas and slopes.
Why is it good for my garden? Juniper is great as a specimen tree in your yard but can be used for a short hedge row. This shrub is slow growing and birds enjoy the seeds.
