Height: This evergreen tree can grow to 50 ft. tall.
Habitat: Grows best in dry sunny areas.
Foliage: Dark green to blue green needle.
Flowers: Small yellow flowers.
Fruits: Green to blue oval shape with points around it form and dry into small brown black cones in the second season, May thought June.
Bark: Thin, rough, reddish brown bark.
Natural Habitat: Found in desert lands and foothills.
Why is it good for my garden? This evergreen is a nice addition to any yard as a small specimen shrub because it grows very slowly. Can make a great container plant. Enjoyed by birds and small mammals.
