Height: This trailing perennial can grow to 2 ft. tall.

Habitat: Grows best in a well drained to sandy soil in full sun.

Foliage: Opposite, light green, oval shaped leaves that are pointed at end.

Flowers: Purple to red purple to blue and grow in clusters and bloom May through September.

Natural Habitat: Found on beaches and sand dunes.

Why is it good for my garden? This is a good plant for a beach or shoreline planting. Tolerates salt spray. Birds and bees enjoy this plant.
