Height: This perennial can grow from 1 to 3 ft tall.
Habitat: Grows best in dry to well drained soil in full to part sun.
Foliage: Small, lanced shaped leaves looking like pine needles, are gray green to silvery.
Flowers: Small pink to purple flowers form umbrella like clusters at the end of flower stocks blooming March through April.
Natural Habitat: Found in dry open areas from low land to the mountains.
Why is it good for my garden? Columbia Desert Parsley is great for a dry area or in a rock garden. This pretty little perennial will bring in all sorts of pollinators. The roots of this plant were traditionally harvested for food and can be eaten raw or cooked.
