Height: This perennial can grow to 3 ft tall.
Habitat: Grows best in dry to well drained soil in full to part sun.
Foliage: Lanced shaped, lobbed, dull green or gray green leaves that grow close to the ground.
Flowers: Flower stock separates into several stems with round clusters of small yellow flowers at the end. Blooms April through June.
Natural Habitat: Found in dry open areas from low land to the mountains.
Why is it good for my garden? Bare-Stem Desert Parsley is great for a dry area or in a rock garden. This pretty little perennial will bring in all sorts of pollinators. The roots of this plant were traditionally harvested for food and can be eaten raw or cooked.
