Height: This deciduous vining plant can grow to from 10 to maybe even 20 ft. tall and about 10 ft. wide.
Habitat: Grows best in well drained soil in part sun.
Foliage: Opposite oval shaped green leaves.
Flowers: Orange trumpet shaped flowers form in clusters at the end of the branches in May through July.
Fruits: Bright red berries.
Natural Habitat: Found in open dense woods from the coast to the mountains.
Why is it good for my garden? Orange honeysuckle is a great vine to have with the bright flowers that attracts butterflies, hummingbirds and other pollinators and the berries attract the House Finch.
