Height: This perennial clumping sedge can grow to 10 inches tall
Habitat: Grows best in well drained soil in full to part shade.
Foliage: Broad arching leaves.
Flowers (Inflorescence): Small delicate flowers appear at the end of the flower stock.
Fruits: This sedge produces seeds.
Natural Habitat: Found in wooded areas.
Why is it good for my garden? The small-flowered wood sedge is a great clumping grass for accent areas in the shade. Seeds are eaten by birds so it will attract wildlife to your garden.
