Height: This perennial grows anywhere from 2 to 16 inches.
Habitat: Grows best in full to part sun well drained areas.
Foliage: Thin, grass-like leaves.
Flowers: Single, purple flower with yellow center blooms June through September.
Natural Habitat: Found in the Cascade and Olympic Mountains in alpine meadows and rocky areas.
