Height: This perennial can grow from 1 to 2 ft. tall.
Habitat: Grows best in well drained soil in full to part sun.
Foliage: Opposite, lance shaped, bright green leaves.
Flowers: Tubed shaped blue purple flowers bloom June through August.
Natural Habitat: Found in forest openings to rocky slopes.
Why is it good for my garden? Little flower penstemon is a great splash of color to any garden and will bring in pollinators and hummingbirds.
