Height: This perennial can grow from 1 to 3 ft tall.

Habitat: Grows best in well drained soil in full to part sun.

Foliage: Opposite, oval, sharply toothed, bright green leaves.

Flowers: Pinkish purple, tube shaped flowers bloom June through August.

Natural Habitat: Found in meadows to forest openings.

Why is it good for my garden? Cascade penstemon is a easy to grow penstemon and will tolerate more moisture and less sun then most penstemons. Like all of the penstemons however it is great color for your garden and will attract pollinators and hummingbirds.
