Height: This perennial can grow to from 1 to 3 ft. tall.

Habitat: Grows best in dry to well drained soil in full to part sun.

Foliage: Opposite, thin, lanced shaped, green leaves.

Flowers: Trumpet shaped blue to blue purple flowers bloom May through July.

Natural Habitat: Found in dry open areas.

Why is it good for my garden? Showy penstemon is a pretty splash of color for your garden and will attract pollinators and hummingbirds.
