Height: This deciduous shrub can grow from 5 to 15 ft. tall and about 6 ft. wide.
Habitat: Grows best in moist to dry soil in full to part sun.
Foliage: Opposite, oval, pointed, green leaves that turn yellow in fall.
Flowers: Fragrant, 4 petaled, white flowers with yellow centers bloom May through July.
Bark: New growth is reddish and turns gray with age.
Natural Habitat: Found from dry to moist areas in shady to open areas.
Why is it good for my garden? Mock orange is a great shrub to add to your yard. White flowers not only small and look great but bring in pollinators. Once established will grow pretty fast. Western Bluebird use this plant for nesting.
