Height: This evergreen tree can grow 60 to 150 ft. tall.
Habitat: Grows best in dry to well drained soil in full to part sun.
Foliage: Long, green needles form in clusters of 3.
Fruits: Oval, reddish brown to brown cones.
Bark: Thick reddish brown to black furrowed or scaly bark.
Natural Habitat: Found in dry areas and open forests.
Why is it good for my garden? This evergreen tree gets pretty large so is more for a large yard or place with some space. Lots of birds and wildlife use this use this tee for food and habitat.
