Height: This evergreen fern can grow from 6 to 20 inches tall.

Habitat: Grows best in moist to well drained soil in full to part shade.

Foliage: Short, triangular, lobed, shiny, thick fronds that are usually very rounded at the tips of each lobe.

Natural Habitat: Grows on cliffs and rocky outcrops along the coast.

Why is it good for my garden? Leather leaf fern is a nice evergreen fern to grow in your shady moist area. Easy to grow and deer resistant.
