Height: This perennial can grow from 1 to 2 ft. tall.
Habitat: Grows best in moist to well draining soil in part to full sun.
Foliage: Green leaves are divided into 3 deeply lobed toothed leaves.
Flowers: Bright yellow, usually 5 petaled but can be up to 8 petaled flowers bloom April through June.
Natural Habitat: Found in moist areas from low elevation to mountains.
Why is it good for my garden? Western buttercup has pretty yellow flowers that attract pollinators. This quick growing plant can out grow invasive plants if needed.
