Height: This thornless, deciduous shrub grows from 3 to 10 ft. tall.
Habitat: Grows best in wet to moist soil in full to part shade.
Foliage: Alternate, lobed, toothed green leaves looks like maple leaves.
Flowers: Small greenish yellow, 5 petal flowers bloom in clusters in May through June.
Fruits: Blue to black, edible berries.
Bark: Brown
Natural Habitat: Found in moist woods.
