Height: This multi stemmed, deciduous shrub can grow from 3 to 30 ft. tall.
Habitat: Grows best in wet to well drained soil in full to part sun.
Foliage: Lanced shaped, pointed, lightly toothed, shiny, green leaves.
Flowers: Hairy catkins bloom March through June.
Bark: Yellow, thin, soft new growth bark turns brown to gray brown with age.
Natural Habitat: Found in moist to boggy areas.
Why is it good for my garden? Pacific willow is a great plant for a wet boggy area, fast growing into a thicket.
