Height: This evergreen succulent perennial can from from 1 to 4 inches tall.
Habitat: Grows best in dry to well drained soil in full to part sun.
Foliage: Alternate, lance shaped, thick blue green to green leaves with red hues on the edges of leaves.
Flowers: Bright yellow, 5 shiny pointed petaled flowers bloom July through September.
Natural Habitat: Found in open rocky areas.
Why is it good for my garden? Sprearleaf stonecrop is a great evergreen ground cover for a dry area of your yard. This can be used in a rock wall and works well in container plantings as well.
