Height: This rhizomatous perennial can grow from 1 to 2 feet tall.
Habitat: Grows best in dry to well drained soil in full to part sun. Grows good in clay soils as well.
Foliage: Long, laced shade, toothed, green leaves.
Flowers: Many, small bright yellow flowers grow together in a small cluster of flower at the end of a flower stock and bloom June through October.
Natural Habitat: Found in mountain meadows and along slopes.
Why is it good for my garden? Dwarf goldenrod is a bright beautiful flower for the back of a flower garden. Grows fast, flowers last a long time, and attracts pollinators.
