Height: This perennial can grow from 2 to 4 ft. tall.
Habitat: Grows best in dry soil in full sun.
Foliage: Alternate, lobed, toothed, gray green leaves.
Flowers: Deep orange, 5 petal flowers, bloom in clusters at then end of flower stock in May through July.
Natural Habitat: Found in sagebrush deserts mostly in Eastern Washington.
Why is it good for my garden? If you have a dry sunny area in your yard this beautiful flower would brighten the area for sure. Can be used as a container plant as well. Brings in pollinators.
