Height: This deciduous shrub can grow up to 3 ft. tall.
Habitat: Grows best in moist to dry soil in full to part sun.
Foliage: Alternate, oblong, toothed, veined, green leaves.
Flowers: Small, 5 petal, bright pink flowers, bloom in clusters and many clusters form an umbrella shaped larger flower cluster that blooms June through August.
Bark: Reddish brown stems turn brown as they mature.
Natural Habitat: Found from moist forest to rocky slopes.
Why is it good for my garden? Rose meadowsweet is a beautiful compact shrub to add to your garden for just a splash of color or a short hedge. This plant brings in pollinators.
