Height: This rhizomatous perennial can grow up to 3 ft. tall.
Habitat: Grows best in moist soil in part shade.
Foliage: Alternate, large, oblong to lance shaped, bright green leaves.
Flowers: Small bell shaped white flowers form under the leaves and bloom April to July.
Fruits: Yellow to red berries form after flowers fade.
Natural Habitat: Found in woodlands and forest.
