Height: This rhizomatous, deciduous, shrub that can grow up to 4 ft. tall.
Habitat: Grows best in well drained to dry soil in full to part sun.
Foliage: Round darker green on top and light green under leaves.
Flowers: Small coral pink to light pink bell shaped flowers form in clusters and bloom May though July.
Fruits: White, waxy, round berries form in fall or after flower fades and can last all winter.
Bark: Greenish brown to brown bark.
Natural Habitat: Found along slopes and forest.
Why is it good for my garden? Snowberry is a nice plant to add to a dryer area. Habitat for wildlife and birds eat the berries.
