Height: This perennial can grow from 1 to 3 ft. tall.
Habitat: Grows best in moist to well drained soil in full to part shade. Can be drought tolerant once established.
Foliage: Heart shaped, lobed, toothed, hairy green leaves turn a brilliant orange, pink or red in fall and can remain evergreen in mild winters.
Flowers: Small, fragrant, green to white flowers bloom along flower stock in April though July.
Fruits: Round seed pods with lots of seeds form after flower dies.
Natural Habitat: Found in damp woods, forest edges, and stream banks.
Why is it good for my garden? Fringecup has a great mounding shape with large green leaves. Easy and fast growing. Bees and other pollinators enjoy the flowers.
