Height: This perennial that grows from a bulb can grow from 1 to 2 ft. tall.
Habitat: Grows best in dry to well drained soil in full to part sun.
Foliage: Long, thin, lance shaped, green leaves. Looks like grass or onion.
Flowers: Small white flowers with green vein in center of petals grow in round clusters at the end of flower stock and bloom May though August.
Natural Habitat: Found from sagebrush deserts to grasslands.
Why is it good for my garden? Fool's onion is a great plant to mix in with other bulbs in your flower garden. Stunning flowers will attract pollinators.
