Height: This deciduous shrub can grow up to 12 inches tall.
Habitat: Grows best in well drained soil in full to part shade.
Foliage: Alternate, oblong to oval, green leaves with red tips.
Flowers: Small pink bell shape flower bloom May through July.
Fruits: Blue round, edible berries.
Bark: Yellow green to reddish bark.
Natural Habitat: Found in forest openings and meadows at high elevations.
Why is it good for my garden? Dwarf huckleberry has a great shape, good fall color, and delicious berries. This plant will attract pollinators and wildlife.
