Height: This deciduous shrub can grow to 5 to 15 inches tall.
Habitat: Grows best in moist to well drained soil in full to part shade.
Foliage: Alternate, oblong to oval, blue green leaves turn bright orange to red in fall.
Flowers: Small pink bell shape flower bloom May through July.
Fruits: Blue round, edible berries.
Bark: Yellow green bark turns to a gray brown color with age.
Natural Habitat: Found in forest openings and meadows.
Why is it good for my garden? Cascade huckleberry has a great shape, good fall color, and delicious berries. This plant will attract pollinators and wildlife.
