Height: This perennial can grow from 1 to 3 ft. tall.

Habitat: Grows best in sandy to well drained soil in full sun.

Foliage: Long, lanced shaped veined leaves.

Flowers: Bright yellow, many petaled, sunflower like flower with orange center blooms May though July.

Natural Habitat: Found from meadows to hills.

Why is it good for my garden? If you like sunflowers this is your plant. Easy to grow and very beautiful. This long tap root helps this plant to be drought tolerant. Enjoyed by pollinators and birds.
